What do you mean, go out and play?

It snowed in the night. This is what we got up to find, very early this morning.

Cold, wet, unpleasant stuff. We liked it last year, but we're grown up now, and know better.

All except a certain someone.

She thought the snow was great fun.

She hasn't a sensible thought in her head, that dog.

We preferred to ignore the snow. We washed, we snoozed, we stayed warm and dry.

Poor Rachel couldn't stay indoors with us. She had to go out in the snow and throw sticks.

No wonder she coughs.

  1. I love it that no matter how bright the scene, the camera's shutter speed is too slow to make that dog's tail seem stationary. Always a blur.

  2. Wonderful video! Such joy, and I love the little ring of snow on Flossie's nose at the end. You have very impressive whistle!

  3. We have heard Dinah and The Man talk about this snow stuff.'s wet, like puddles or wet like rain? We think we might like it. A little bit. Just for a few minutes.

  4. "Sit. Or don't then" just cracked me up!

  5. Are you going to enter Flossie in a Champion Tail Wagger competition? I hope you both joined the cats and Tosca and settled down in the warm after such bracing exercise!

  6. Hamish is looking pretty

  7. That Scooter is a fine looking feller.

  8. hmmm.... this snow looks very familiar... I've been looking at it for weeks now. :(

    Happy Friday!
